   Tai Po Kau Nature Reserve
    Site Description

The Tai Po Kau route falls within Tai Po Kau Nature Reserve and mainly follows the Blue Forest Walk. It starts from the warden post of the Nature Reserve. The trail initially follows the river gorge where the woodland is thick and mature. Being one of the most mature secondary forests in Hong Kong, it provides an ideal habitat for both residential and migratory woodland birds.
